What is protected?

All of your personal data that we have collected. Before going into further detail, we would like to clarify that personal data refers to any information relating to a natural person that allows them to be identified, either directly or indirectly.  

That said, we would like to inform you that our company collects the following personal data (direct collection, i.e., data provided by you): last name, first names, phone number, date of birth, password, SIRET number (if the individual is a professional), and messages you have sent us.

In addition, our company collects personal data indirectly and anonymously relating to your activity on our website. This includes the following data: transactions carried out on our website, devices used to connect to our website, your registration date, your IP address, and the operating system used.

What is the legal basis for our collection of your personal data?

  • Processing to enable us to fulfill our terms and conditions and therefore provide you with our services;
  • Processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests (lawful, necessary, and not infringing on your rights and freedoms), in particular to ensure the security of information or to provide you with advice;

The personal data collected directly will enable:

  • Creating and managing your account so that you can place orders, track their progress, contact us for assistance, or access your purchase history;
  • Receipt of the products ordered at the delivery address provided;
  • Receiving a quote if you have requested one and subsequently discussing it;
  • To respond to your questions or requests submitted via the "contact" form.

Where is your personal data stored?

This information is stored in the company's database on servers located within the European Union and managed by O2switch and Cenotech.

When and for how long are your personal data stored?

Your personal data is stored:

  • As soon as your account is created;
  • As soon as you subscribe to the Newsletter on our website;
  • Once you have completed and submitted the contact form in order to receive a quote or answers to your questions;
  • As soon as an order is finalized, through its payment.

With regard to the information collected when you create your account/request a quote:

This information and history are retained for the entire duration of your account and will be immediately and permanently deleted upon request to delete the account.

You may request the deletion of your account at any time by sending such a request to the following address: contact@sam-kit.fr

Please note that if your account remains inactive for three (3) consecutive years, it will be deleted at the end of this period.

An inactive account is an account that you have not logged into at all during a period of three (3) years.

Regarding the data collected when you subscribe to the Newsletter:

This information will be kept for as long as necessary to provide this service, up to a maximum of three (3) years from the date you subscribe to the service. Please note that you can unsubscribe from the Newsletter service at any time. If you do so, your data will be permanently and immediately deleted. To unsubscribe, simply click on the link at the bottom of the Newsletter.

Regarding billing information:

Invoices are kept for a period of ten (10) years from their date of issue.

How are they stored?

Your data is stored in protected and secure computer systems.

We are particularly vigilant and have implemented enhanced security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access and use.

Who can access my data?

Only our employees have access to your data. They are particularly aware of this issue and are subject to a confidentiality obligation.

Apart from our employees, only transport companies have access to some of your data, in order to enable the delivery of the products you have ordered.

Can I access my data and control how it is used?

In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to and transfer data concerning you, which you may exercise at any time by contacting the publisher at the email address contact@sam-kit.fr or by post at 6 bis rue deneb 72230 Moncé-en-Belin.  

For your information, we would like to point out that:

  • The right to inquire allows you to inquire with SAM in order to obtain the disclosure of your data that is currently stored;

  • The right to erasure allows you to request that SAM delete all data concerning you. To do so, please send an email to contact@sam-kit.fr. Your data will then be immediately and permanently deleted.
  • The right to restriction of processing allows you to ask SAM to restrict the processing of your data;
  • The right to object allows you to object to the use of your data by SAM;
  • The right to portability allows you to request that SAM provide you with your personal data in a readable format so that you can give it to another data controller.

If you consider that your data is not sufficiently protected, we remind you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
